Add your video#

Open the clips page and choose where the video is.

SourceWhat to add
YouTubeA video link. Other public video links work in the same box.
Google DriveA link to the video file in your Drive.
Local fileAn MP4, WebM, MOV, AVI or MKV file, up to 30 GB.

There's no limit on video length. Longer videos use more credits.

Choose your settings#

  • Template: reuse saved settings, such as your caption style and logo.
  • Genre: tell us the kind of video (podcast, gaming and so on) so we look for the right moments.
  • Clip length: Auto picks 30 to 90 seconds. You can choose a set range, up to 15 minutes.
  • Auto-detect hooks: we start clips on a line that grabs attention.
  • Aspect ratio: 9:16 for Shorts and Reels, 16:9 for YouTube, or 1:1 square.
  • Caption style: the look of the words on screen.
  • Speech language: we detect it for you. Set it yourself if the video mixes languages.
  • Processing timeframe: clip only part of the video, like the first hour.
  • Keywords: name moments or topics you want us to find.

Save credits

Set a processing timeframe to skip intros, ads or breaks. You only use credits for the part you choose.

Generate your clips#

Press Generate clips. We show how many credits it'll use first, and you can leave the page while we work.

Most videos are ready in about half their running time. A 30-minute video usually takes 3 to 5 minutes.

What if the job fails, or doesn't find any clips?
We give your credits back automatically. Try again, or email us if it keeps happening.
Can I upload several videos at once?
Not yet. Start one video, then add the next while the first one is working.
