ChatGPT and Claude
Use ClipCrew in ChatGPT and Claude
The ClipCrew app for ChatGPT and plugin for Claude answer three questions in chat, with no ClipCrew account. Paste a YouTube link to see how many credits a clip job would use. Check a sponsor script for ad disclosure, or see how often a channel posts.
What you can ask
Paste a YouTube link to see the video's length and the credits a clip job would use, at one credit per minute. Paste a sponsor script or caption to check it for disclosure and claims. Name a YouTube channel to see how often it posted in the last 90 days, with a link to ClipCrew's full channel analysis.
Add ClipCrew to Claude
In Claude, add ClipCrew from the plugin directory. In Claude Code, run /plugin marketplace add clipcrewai/clipcrew-plugin, then /plugin install clipcrew@clipcrew. The plugin is public on GitHub at clipcrewai/clipcrew-plugin.
Add ClipCrew to ChatGPT
In ChatGPT, open Apps, search for ClipCrew and connect it. Then ask a question, for example "How many credits would this video take to clip?"
Clip jobs start on clipcrew.ai
The assistant never starts a clip job or downloads your video. It shows the estimate and gives you a link, and the job starts on clipcrew.ai when you choose. Requests go only to ClipCrew at mcp.clipcrew.ai.
Questions, answered
- Do I need a ClipCrew account?
- No. Clip estimates, ad checks and channel lookups work without one. You need an account to start the clip job on clipcrew.ai.
- Does asking in chat use my credits?
- No. Credits are used only when you start a clip job on clipcrew.ai: one credit for each minute of video.
- Is the ad check legal advice?
- No. It checks your text against ClipCrew's disclosure and claims rules and tells you what to change. Treat it as guidance.
- What does the assistant send to ClipCrew?
- Only what you ask about: the YouTube link, the script or the channel. Our privacy policy says what we keep and for how long.
